Volunteer at Orphan Help Center in Kathmandu, Nepal

This orphanage cares for Nepalese village children whose parents have either passed away, disappeared or are too poor to feed and educate them. Limited staff makes taking care of the children of OHC a challenge. This placement needs volunteer because Limited staff makes taking care of the children of OHC a challenge. Volunteers are needed to assist the current staff and help make the work load more manageable.

Volunteers are needed to assist the current staff and help make the work load more manageable. Volunteers can help by doing the following tasks: OHC needs volunteers to lend a hand wherever necessary. You will be asked to help the children get ready for school, take younger kids to school in Morning and then to OHC in afternoon, assist with cleanup, teach the kids about proper hygiene, read books etc. You can also come up with extra curricular activities to engage the children or help the staff with administrative tasks. Pitch in where you see a need! Documentation such as a creating a record of all the children at the center. The specific skills that this placement is looking for are :
