Karwar Beach
The splendid Karwar beach is named after Karwar town, which is the administrative headquarter of Uttara Kannada district, situated in the South Indian state of Karnataka. It is also known as Devbagh beach, which is the most beautiful beach of the region. The unique location of the town is very much responsible for the immense beauty of the place, as it is sandwiched between Western Ghats on one side and the Arabian sea on other side.

Also the eminent Islamic scholar and traveler ‘Hajji Abu Abdullah Muhammad Ibn Battuta’ passed through this route many times during his travels and excursions.
